Our Founder’s Story

Remembering Matt — the man who started Login and shaped the people-first company it is today.

Matt founded Login in 2001, alongside a business partner and a handful of investors who believed in his vision. A 20-plus-year veteran of the internet and telecommunications industry, he built the company from the ground up — driven by an endless curiosity and a genuine desire to make a difference for the businesses Login served.

In those early years he wore every hat there was. He was VP and CEO, but he was just as likely to be mopping the floors, scrubbing the toilets, or hosting the office party. He rarely stopped — though he only ever slept at the office a handful of times.

Outside of work, Matt’s heart belonged to his family: his wife and their six children. He loved the Tucson community, his cars, and caring for his dogs, and he made time to give back through his philanthropy. When he wasn’t building Login, he was usually working out, indulging a (carefully controlled) need for speed, or finding a way to help someone else.

Following Matt’s passing in 2024, his wife, Amy, stepped into leadership at a pivotal moment in the company’s history. She reinforced a culture of resilience and commitment and rallied the team around the vision Matt had spent more than two decades building.

Today, Login continues to thrive on the strong foundation he laid, moving forward with optimism and the same people-first spirit that defined its founder. His story is woven into everything we do.
